Embrace Divine Wellness: Holistic Dental Care & Conscious Living Through The Healing Channel

Hello There Reader
When we were just little ones, we were given baths. The warm water that our mothers sloshed over us was so soothing and helped us relax. The same is true today for us as adults. A bath rejuvenates, relaxes and cleanses like no other.
Some of the homes I’ve lived in as an adult didn’t always have a bathtub so I began searching for hot springs. Since I live in the west, I found many. Natural hot springs are the best. There are usually minerals in the water for your healing pleasure. As an adult, I truly hope you have soaked in a natural hot springs or two.
When I used to cross-country ski, if there was a hot springs close-by, I would always take advantage of it. After a good hour soaking, I knew my muscles wouldn’t ache the next day from the skiing workout. And if I didn’t soak in a bath or hot spring after this strenuous exercise, I was usually sore the next day.
Bathing For Health Goes Back to Ancient Times
Our distant ancestors were wise to use baths as a means of obtaining relief from many bodily disorders. The curative powers of bathing are recorded in the histories of past civilizations along side the great accomplishments of generals, statesmen and kings.
Bathing for health gives your body a chance in an environment not all conducive to good health. However, if you work hand-in-hand with nature, you will possess the fullness of well-being, which is the gift of following nature’s loving way.
Unfortunately, constant, unrelenting exposure to foreign elements in our air and food has led to many degenerative conditions.
It naturally follows that if our foods are being affected adversely by a polluted environment, then you are also being affected as you live and work in the same type of environment. In daily living you are ingesting and breathing in and drinking poisonous material on a regular basis.
Pesticides, radiation, irradiation residues from food, carbon monoxide and metals such as aluminum and mercury can create havoc in your body.
If your body is clogged with toxic waste materials from the stresses of everyday living, there is no way you will be functioning on a quality level unless you are free of these contaminates.
Therapeutic Bathing to the Rescue
Therapeutic bathing is another way of cleansing and therefore healing. Sixty-five percent of body cleansing is accomplished through your skin.
Since most of us are contaminated, Dr. Hazel Parcells, healer and pioneer nutritionist, suggests therapeutic bathing if you desire good health. She developed a program of therapeutic bathing that has had remarkable results in detoxifying the body.
Dr. Parcell’s program of therapeutic hot water solutions draws toxins out of your body to the surface of the skin. As the water cools, the toxins are pulled from the surface of the skin by the change in temperature, and goes into the water. This purification is brought about by osmosis, that simple principle of nature at work; the weak (cool water) energy draws from the strong (body heated by the hot water).
Dr. Parcells offers four different formulas, however, in this post I am sharing only two of them. Mainly because these two formulas relate to gum and mouth issues. You can read more about her in, “Healer, The Pioneer Nutritionist and Prophet” by Joseph Dispenza.
Soaking before bedtime is the best time to bathe, because your body detoxifies naturally during sleep. Furthermore, she suggests using only one bath formula per evening and not mixing ingredients from different formulas. Each bath is recommended only for the specific reasons as listed below.
Types of Therapeutic Baths
Reasons for Bathing Formula #1
Exposure to environmental radiation or excessive x-rays, causing muscular aches, nausea, headaches, or disturbance in balance.
Therapeutic Bathing Formula #1
Dissolve one pound sea salt or rock salt and one pound of baking soda into a tub as hot as you can tolerate. Stay in the bath until the water has cooled. Do not shower for at least 8 hours following the bath.
Reasons for Bathing Formula #2
Exposure to low-grade radioactive materials in the air or radiated food, causing soreness in the gums or mouth, swollen glands or soreness in the throat and an inability to retain food comfortably in the stomach.
Therapeutic Bathing Formula #2
Dissolve two pounds of baking soda into a tub as hot as you can tolerate. Stay in the bath until the water has cooled. Do not shower for at least 8 hours following the bath.
Dr. Parcells adds that if you feel the need for both of these baths, alternate them on different evenings. They can be continued without harm until you notice a relief from symptoms.
Bathing for relaxation, rejuvenation and cleansing is a path to great overall health and well-being.
Here is an opportunity to remember the healing lessons of nature and put them to use in your life. It is up to you to unlock nature’s secret for yourself. They are not secrets at all, but truths we have known for centuries and forgotten.
*****One more note on soaking*****
Don’t have a full tub? No worries—a small basin or tub works beautifully. Soaking your feet can be just as powerful for your entire system. The soles of your feet contain over 15 pressure points that correspond to key areas of the body, including the brain, head, face, sinuses, teeth, gums, jaw, and arms.
This simple ritual helps draw out toxins and replaces them with a deep sense of renewal and vitality.
Here’s how to do it:
Soak your feet in the hottest water you can comfortably tolerate for at least 15 minutes.
Add the following to your soak:
- ¼ cup Epsom salts
- ¼ cup hydrogen peroxide
- ¼ cup borax
- ¼ cup baking soda
Try this once a day for a couple of weeks—and let the healing begin. You may be surprised at how grounded, clear, and uplifted you feel.
